Video: Cowboys QB Dak Prescott working out again after last year's injury

If the Dallas Cowboys are going to have a rebound season in 2025, they'll need quarterback Dak Prescott back and healthy. After tearing his hamstring in early November, Prescott had yet to be seen on a field doing any football-related activities as he recovers from the injury that cost him the final nine games of last season.

Had yet... until now. The Cowboys' franchise QB and $240 million man has been working out with some of the team's skill players and looks like someone who will be ready for the upcoming campaign.

In the video, Prescott looks good throwing effortlessly and isn't showing any signs of a lingering issue. It also appears like Prescott has lost some weight as he looks noticeably slimmer.

The offseason program for the Cowboys hasn't begun yet, but Prescott mentioning he's turned the corner recently is good news. The original timeline for recovery with Prescott's injury was set at three months and the franchise QB is now 5.5 months removed from the when he suffered the partial avulsion of the hamstring.

There's approximately four months until training camp, which is when the Cowboys hope to have Prescott back fully healthy. If the recent workouts are any indication, Prescott should be ready for late July to help lead the Cowboys into the 2025 season.
