We're through two rounds in the LHSAA high school baseball playoffs.

In the Houma-Thibodaux area, six teams were still alive in the chase for a championship. After last weekend, that number is down to three.

Here's how each of them fared:

The top-ranked Lions have had a long wait, but finally learned their first opponent in Division IV select. CCA will take on No. 16 St. Martin's Episcopal on Thursday night.

E.D. White

The 7-seed Cardinals were actually upset in Game 1 by No. 10 Acadiana Renaissance Charter, 3-2, to open the Division II select tournament. However, EDW rallied to win Game 2, 8-1, and Game 3, 6-2. Next up is a series traveling to No. 2 St. Charles starting on Thursday.

Houma Christian
