2025 NFL schedule: Texans among top-half teams in most miles during regular season

The Houston Texans have a big travel itinerary this season ahead of what hopes to be a prominent 2025 campaign.

Houston will traverse 18,982 total miles throughout their 17-game season this year, according to Bookies.com's Bill Speros. It's the 14th-highest number, but somehow the third-most among teams in the AFC South, with both Indianapolis and Jacksonville coming inisde the top 10.

That means the Texans average 2,373 miles per game. Houston will also will also cross 18 time zones, which lands in the top 10 of travel plans in the league this year.

This realization isn't surprising given where the Texans are locked in on travel plans for the impending season. One week, they'll trek up to Baltimore with a date against the Baltimore Ravens. The next week, they could head out west to Seattle or Los Angeles for a showdown with the Seahawks, Rams or Chargers.

Here is a full breakdown of the Texans' travel mileage and time zones cross for the 2025 season, per Speros:

  • Chiefs: 1298 miles | 0 time zones
  • Jaguars: 1649 miles | 2 time zones
  • Colts: 1742 miles | 2 time zones
  • Titans: 2502 miles | 0 time zones
  • Ravens: 2509 miles | 2 time zones
  • Chargers: 2750 | 4 time zones
